Youth With A Mission "YWAM" Pismo Beach & Central Coast was started in September of 2003 with a staff dedicated to living in community, reaching the Central Coast and the nations through evangelism and missions.

Coming from all over the United States, seven people rented a big house in Grover Beach and started to work on this new ministry. The heart of the base was to live in de-centralized houses throughout the cities of the Central Coast, in order to reach out to the communities around us in friendship, and to release and train people in missions.

The base has now increased to 15 staff, with 2 new staff coming in the fall of 2009. Our staff are constantly finding new ways to be involved in their community, serving with the local church and knowing one another.
