Isaiah 61 DTS

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He may be glorified.” - Isaiah 61: 1-3

We have been called to stand above the norm, we have been summoned to be set apart, we have a purpose, a mission. God is calling forth His army, a people who have a deep desire to know Him intimately and to make Him known, are you ready?

The YWAM Pismo Beach I-61 DTS is looking for students who have a passion to be set apart. Our call is to go forth, heal the sick, preach the Gospel, and raise the dead, desiring to reach deeper levels of holiness with the One who is intimately and passionately in love with us. We are looking for students who have a desire to be discipled, and in turn, learn to disciple others. Our heart is to see young people move in the power of the Spirit, equipped in the Central Coast of California and sent into the nations.

During the lecture phase (January thru March) we will have speakers share with us about things like the Character & Nature of God, Discipleship, Grace, Evangelism, and other great topics. From the teachings each student will be expected to prepare their own sermons to be used on outreach. We will also have weekly meetings where we will explore and discuss such topics as Justice, Unreached Peoples, Frontier Missions, Developing your Gifts and Callings, and more. Our heart is to explore different topics that are relevant to this generation and are in line with current moves of God.

The outreach phase (April thru June) will be two months of becoming a voice in the desert. We will be boldly proclaiming the Gospel in the nations; also spending time doing intercession, evangelism, mercy ministries, etc, putting into practice all that we have learned during lecture phase.

We invite you to come and set aside these five months to take up your cross, be ruined for the ordinary, be soldiers for Christ, and be captured by His love.
