Mike, Aleesha, Jocelynn & Gryphon
"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s." - Psalm 103: 1-5
We had our first date on St. Patrick's Day 2000. It was supposed to be a small party but nobody else showed up. They got married exactly one year later on St. Patrick's Day 2001. Jocelynn was born July 2004. Gryphon was born March 2007. He had severe medical problems and spent his first month of life in the hospital. The medical problems caused Cerebral Palsy as well as other long term problems. We were really able to see the power of prayer and the love of God during this time. Later that year we felt God calling us to China as missionaries. We have friends that are missionaries to China so we decided to visit China in March 2008. After we returned home we found ourselves missing it and prayed about going into full time missions. We knew that we wanted to join a YWAM base that had a focus on China. That is what lead us to YWAM Pismo Beach. We moved our family to Pismo in January of 2010 to do our DTS. Mike's brother Matt came along to help watch Gryphon. We went to China for our outreach in April. We are now on staff full time and have a heart to lead outreach teams into China on a yearly basis.
Mike enjoys sandwiches, pizza, 4X4ing, camping, hiking, fun, travel, danger, grace, California, freedom, fishing, hot dogs, wood working, monster energy drinks, and cheese. Aleesha enjoys worship, family, friends, Jesus and Travel. Jocelynn enjoys reading, playing, drawing and coloring and her friends. Gryphon enjoys everything, making people laugh, making faces, wrestling with his dad, shooting nerf guns and Glenda's cooking.

"It's crazy if you think about it. The God of the universe - the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and e -minor - loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Whether you've verbalized it yet or not... we all know something's wrong."
-Francis Chan.
"Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-21
I am a young guy, saved by grace through faith, from Alexander County, North Carolina. I did the surf DTS here in Pismo Beach in January 2009 and came back on staff in May of 2010. For my outreach, I spent 2 months on the islands of India and in south India. I have a heart for youth and young adults because they, and we, are the further of the Church. Telling them about the relationship we have in Jesus Christ, through His grace and sufferings. I also have a heart for people who are far from God, and seeing them filled with life in Christ. I love skateboarding, surfing, basketball and music. I love to laugh and make others laugh. I love fashion and being fresh! That's me! Follow me on twitter @PhilipCausey

'Being an intercessor is capturing the heartbeat of Heaven and declaring or praying that into the world. It's
true agreement with Heaven.'' -The Happy Intercessor
'' ..They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendour.'' -Isaiah 61:3
My name is Jael Bom, I'm from the Netherlands and 19 years old. I love the beach, I love to bike and I love to bake.
What I bake never really looks good, but it usually tastes delicious!
I did the Isaiah 61 school of 2010 here in Pismo Beach and God changed my life. After a visit in november God called
me back to join staff. God has given me a heart for intercession, my passion is to see the people around me walk in
complete freedom, victory and love. I long to see us all being prepared for the return of our Lover, the Lord Jesus Christ.
