Who Can Participate
Base Evangelism is open to the staff and ministries of YWAM Pismo Beach & Central Coast as well as the any believer who has a desire to share the love of God with the community around them.
We go out every Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m from our office on Price St. in Pismo Beach. You are welcome to join us in reaching out to the Central Coast on a weekly basis. Call 805.773.9926 for more information.
What is Evangelism
- bringing glory to God
- telling others about Jesus with intent of leading them to the Lord
- a rescue mission to save lost souls out of obedience to God
- a call to repentance
What is the Purpose of Base Evangelism?
To set aside time as a base to focus all of our attention and energy on Evangelism. It is to purposefully put into practice one of the main aspects of YWAM as a whole, as well as to move in the mission statement of YWAM Pismo Beach & Central Coast as a "Community reaching a Community."
This time is not designated to meet an "Evangelism Quota" for the week, but as Christians we are called to a lifestyle of Evangelism.
"He said to me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' and I answered, 'O Lord God, You know.'...Thus says the Lord God to these bones, 'Behold I will cause breath to enter you that may come to life.'"
