In our efforts to reach our community effectively, through prayer, we felt God calling us to reach out to two spheres of society and concentrate our ministry there. The Family sphere, and the Celebration sphere.
Family Sphere Ministry
Current Happenings:Our major efforts in this ministry have been starting what we currently call our Women's Ministry. The first seeds of this ministry began in 2010 when one of our staff felt lead to put together some gift bags and take them down to the local gentleman's club. We have since done this several times and are beginning to see some exciting new doors open for us to continue these relationships. Our heart is just to show these ladies that they are loved, valued, and worth so much! In addition to loving these girls, we are also wanting to reach out to the girls on the street in the community and show them love and value as well. This part of the ministry is just being birthed, but we are hoping to make significant God-encounters and be able to love these women where they are at.
A few of our staff are also involved and serving the youth in our community through a partnership with Young Life Ministries. This has been an exciting new opportunity and we look forward to what God has for us there. Our hope is that we can serve this ministry, these youth, and their families and love on them all.
Future endeavors:
We are also hoping to begin a Children's MInistry in the future. The possibilities in this area are endless and as we have new staff join, we will begin seeking the Lord on what exactly he wants us to do and how we can best serve and love the children in our community.
