Boarding & Arts DTS - September 2013

September 15, 2013 - March 7, 2014

The Fall 2013 DTS will have a multi - track focus: the arts will meet the boarding culture. We are wanting a combination of talents and abilities mixed into one school, ultimately with one true focus of seeing God's kingdom come on earth, as it is in heaven.

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." ~1 Corinthians 12:4-6

We are welcoming uniquely different tracks to merge into one DTS so that the diversity of each person can be mutually encouraged and lend themselves to work together to glorify the Lord.

For many years YWAM Pismo Beach has seen our local community changed through the arts, and boarding. The central coast of California is receptive to expressing creativity, and so we are excited about bringing these 6 tracks to a DTS and allowing God to use them to transform lives.

During the course of the school students will have set times to grow in skill of their chosen track, likely having lessons in their particular field. Students will have time to grow with one another and in their relationship with God as they participate in the school. Following the lecture portion of the school, we will be heading on the overseas outreach to put into practice what we've learned. By the end of the school, we hope that you will know your role in Gods kingdom and your purpose.
